Tier 1 IT Support Engineer

The Information Technology Support Engineer is primarily responsible for organizing, modifying, installing, and supporting secure, networked computer systems within the enterprise. Responsible for the installation, management, and troubleshooting of networks, LANs, WANs, internet and intranet systems at the throughout the environment. Additionally, The IT Support Engineer assists in providing solutions for employees related to general instructional or technical problems for hardware, networking, and software programs. Utilizing the ability to identify, troubleshoot and resolve Information Technology issues, maintaining the confidentiality of sensitive company and employee information.

Essential Functions

  • Work tickets to assist users with software and hardware issues
  • Take care of new hire tickets, configure, and ship their laptops and accessories
  • Add the users to AD, provide permissions
  • Keep track of all assets, add asset tags to new equipment, put them in our inventory and assign them to users
  • Keep track of all inventory and check them in once returned.
  • Write Knowledge Base articles
  • In charge of reconfiguring inventory for new hires

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in IT Support, Desktop Support or similar IT role
  • Excellent computer, mathematical, language and reasoning skills
  • High-level attention to detail, administrative skills, problem-solving skills and highly organized
  • Ability to follow established company protocol for equipment use and allocation.
  • Adaptable to rapidly expanding and changing operations.
  • Ability to work independently, with little or no direct supervision.

 

Annual Salary: $65,000.00- $90,000.00

Strive Health offers competitive compensation and benefits.  An annual performance bonus, determined by company and individual performance, is available for many roles and aligned to Strive Health guidelines.
