Privacy Director

As the Privacy Director, you will support the design and development of the Strive Health HIPAA Program, in addition to managing the HIPAA Program's day-to-day operations.  The Privacy Director will report to the Chief Compliance Officer and engage internally with Strive Health Senior Leadership, Legal, Business Development, Technology, and Clinical Operations, and externally with upstream covered entities and Strive Health business associates. If selected for this role, you will have the opportunity to lead Strive Health's efforts to remain in compliance with privacy laws and regulations, and help Strive Health achieve its Mission.

• Manage the Strive Health HIPAA policies and procedures
• Provide HIPAA guidance
• Oversee the HIPAA compliance training program
• Receive and investigate complaints or concerns regarding HIPAA policies and procedures, as well as any reports of a breach or suspected unauthorized use or disclosure of PHI
• Monitor changes to privacy laws and regulations
• Review, maintain and monitor compliance with Business Associate Agreements Strive Health signs as a business associate, or that Strive Health requires of subcontractor business associates
• Work with the Security Officer on HIPAA Security Rule compliance efforts
• Perform regular HIPAA and data environment risk assessments
• Develop and Implement a Data Governance Program

Minimum Qualifications

• Knowledge of healthcare-specific privacy laws and regulations
• Significant experience leading or supporting a healthcare provider based HIPAA Program
• A bachelor's degree or higher in a related field
• Computer proficiency, particularly in Microsoft Office Suite
• Independently motivated
• Comfortable working through unknowns and "grey areas" with minimal oversight
• Ability to travel, up to 10%
• Attention to detail
• Critical thinking skills

• Proven track record of adding value to an organization

Annual Salary Range: $110,000.00 - $140,000.00

Strive Health offers competitive compensation and benefits.  An annual performance bonus, determined by company and individual performance, is available for many roles and aligned to Strive Health guidelines.
