Sr. Director, Strategic Finance

Strive is looking for a versatile, driven individual with high intellectual horsepower, exceptional quantitative and communication skills, keen attention to detail and well-honed business judgment. This role will serve as a key member of the finance team and act as a strategic partner to senior management. The successful candidate will be hands-on and will lead efforts to support the business in strategic decision-making, strategic initiatives, budgeting and forecasting, operating and long-range plans and reporting. The ideal candidate will be an independent, strategic, and analytical thinker with exceptional financial modeling and presentation skills.

• Lead cross-functional work to evaluate financial impact of the company’s near- and long- term strategic initiatives and collaborate with broader FP&A team and Finance functions to incorporate into financial plans
• Assist with building financial models for budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning related to strategic initiatives including new product development and launches, product pricing, partnerships and other new revenue opportunities
• Partner closely with Strive's leaders to allocate resources across departments and ensure they have the tools they need to achieve their goals
• Analyze financial results, distilling key trends, highlighting opportunities, and communicating impacts and recommendations
• Manage and maintain regular reports to management including updates on performance of the business
• Develop and maintain short and long-term financial projections and create scenarios that help leaders envision the impact of different decisions
• Develop reporting infrastructure and reporting in new ERP for future growth needs
• Create cost accounting methodology to determine profitability by dimension (contract, line of business, etc.)
• Lead initiatives to continue optimizing tools and processes to become more efficient as we scale
• Develop board-level and company-wide presentations, analysis, education and communications
• Provide technical accounting support

Minimum Qualifications:

• 7+ years in Strategic Finance / FP&A / Investment Banking / M&A
• Undergraduate degree in finance / economics / accounting
• Certified Public Accountant
• Management experience required
• Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills
• Advanced in Excel and financial modeling
• Exceptional written, oral and presentation skills, along with finely tuned interpersonal skills and professional judgment
• Must be a proactive & highly organized self-starter, able to work independently and under tight deadlines while maintaining attention to detail
• Strong adaptability to work collaboratively and cross-functionally in a fast-paced, often changing environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• A minimum of 10+ years in progressive finance roles, with a depth of experience in areas such as investment banking, mergers and acquisitions, finance operations, planning, strategy, accounting, and people management
• High aptitude and enthusiasm for complex problem solving utilizing financial modeling and analysis, including advanced Excel and Powerpoint
• Ability to take initiative and implement scalable processes while working with teammates across the company and building strong, high-trust relationships
• Experience supporting major functional areas within an organization with experience in financial analysis, headcount/resource management and business metric reporting
• Collaborative partner with unquestionable ethics, integrity and discretion
• Highly organized and comfortable managing multiple workstreams at once
• Prior systems experience with financial planning tools and ERP knowledge
• Experience in the healthcare sector
• Experience in audit and tax
• Experience working with multiple legal entities under different legal umbrellas

Annual Salary Range: $130,000.00-$170,000.00

Strive Health offers competitive compensation and benefits.  An annual performance bonus, determined by company and individual performance, is available for many roles and aligned to Strive Health guidelines.
