Transaction Manager

We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our strategy and development leadership team.  This leader will be responsible for working alongside Strive Legal Counsel, Growth Directors, and Regional General Managers to project manage the deal cycle, resulting in new client contracts that can be implemented. Primary duties may include but are not limited to the following.

Essential Functions

  • Review and oversight of definitive contractual agreements
  • Executive level summaries, redline detail, and overall, first pass drafting of terms
  • Develop and maintain an organized “deal-status” tracker of contract documents for each transaction and key outstanding terms
  • Coordinates with various internal functional teams for input on necessary items (including, but not limited to ELT, Legal, Compliance, Finance, Operations, Enrollment, Health Economics, Implementation, and HR)
  • Communicates with partner/client, scheduling internal and external meetings related to contracting, terms, timelines, and overall launch planning
  • Coordination with leads of regional finance, clinical, operations, and network teams to ensure compliant programmatic delivery and alignment between strategic and operational priorities
  • Develop strong relationships with key client personnel through open and transparent communications, proactive collaboration, and commitment to fulfilling the Strive corporate mission of helping people live their lives to the fullest potential.
  • Provide input to product and legal teams to develop new language and draft them into evolving deal types 
  • Collaborate with Functional Leads and matrix partners in support of meeting all performance guarantees and to build and maintain a robust account plan per client capturing short- and longer-term priorities, as well as a stakeholder mapping and engagement plan
  • Develops and motivates matrix-managed staff to achieve timeline goals 
  • Maintain strong knowledge of public policy and local market Renal/Nephrology health dynamics necessary to work with the regional leadership and advocacy efforts with key external stakeholders, including state and local government officials

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Requires a BA/BS; 5 years of experience in network management, contract management, value-based incentives, and/or deal committee. Ideal background includes health plan experience or business that directly contracts/serves as a vendor to health plans or state/local government providing clinical or administrative services, or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
  • Knowledge of managed care and/or kidney care is strongly preferred
  • Ability to travel 10% - when safe

  • Excellent written, oral, and presentation skills
  • Effective leadership and analytical skills
  • Strong relationship building skills with the ability to effectively present to large groups
  • Requires Microsoft Outlook, Power-Point, Word, Excel skills
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and comfort in ambiguity; desire to be a self-starter

Annual Salary Range: $100,000.00 - 130,000.00

 

Strive Health offers competitive compensation and benefits.  An annual performance bonus, determined by company and individual performance, is available for many roles and aligned to Strive Health guidelines.
