Payor Contracting, Manager

We are seeking a motivated individual who can support launching new markets via contracting with local, regional and national payors. Key responsibilities include cultivating and maintaining payor relationships, negotiating dialysis treatment rates and contract language, issue resolution, coordinating with claims vendor/teams to ensure accurate billing and contract implementation, and regular communication with regional field operating leaders. This position reports to the VP of Market Development. This position requires a limited amount of travel.

Essential Functions

  • Review and oversight of dialysis payor contracts
  • Executive level summaries, redline detail, and overall, first pass drafting of terms
  • Negotiate dialysis rates with multiple payor partners to increase patient access to Strive Dialysis facilities
  • Maintain relationships with local, regional and national payor partners in order to drive efficiency in the contracting process for existing and new cents
  • Develop and maintain an organized “deal-status” tracker of payor contract documents for each clinic and key outstanding terms
  • Coordinates with various internal functional teams for input on necessary items (including, but not limited to Legal, Compliance, Finance, Operations, Enrollment, Health Economics, Implementation, and HR)
  • Support GTM launch strategy on timing + execution of payor contracts to support patient choice of Strive Dialysis facilities in local markets

 

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree (post-graduate professional degree a plus)
  • Minimum of three years experience in managed care or contracting, on behalf of either a payor or provider (Dialysis payor contracting preferred)
  • Prior negotiation experience

Annual Salary Range: $93,000-$104,000.00

Strive Health offers competitive compensation and benefits.  An annual performance bonus, determined by company and individual performance, is available for many roles and aligned to Strive Health guidelines.
